-Rolex produced these watches in the late 1970s and early 1980s for Pool Intairdril, an oil servicing company that supplied labor, rigs, and equipment to major oil corporations. These watches were awarded to their employees as safety awards. Rig managers and safety personnel received these Rolex Air Kings many times with their names engraved on the case back, along with a certificate of commendation, for achieving accident-free days.

Condition: The watch is in pre-owned condition. The crystal has some hairline scratches scattered throughout. There are minor scratches throughout the case and bracelet but nothing too significant, however there is some significant stretch to the bracelet. Overall, the watch is in pretty nice shape but a polish may be desired to improve the appearance. NOTE: Watch winds tight, however it keeps great time.
